Research Fellow

My research interests lie in Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Dialogue Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning techniques, Data Classification, Information Retrieval & Recommender Systems, and more.

I am affiliated with the ADAPT Research Centre at Trinity College Dublin as a PhD candidate anticipating thesis defence. With a background as a research assistant on the Noah’s Ark project for Large Language Models Dialogue Evaluation, funded by Huawei, a software engineer and a lecturer in computing, I bring valuable experience to my research pursuit.

Before moving to Ireland, I completed my Master’s in Software Engineering from Jiangsu University, China, and my bachelor’s from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. Having had the opportunity to work in three different countries across Asia and Europe, I have gained a diverse perspective. I am eager to join the NovelEco Project as a research fellow at the School of Natural Sciences and the SFI ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin. My responsibilities align with mining data from social media, public sources, and mainstream media, using machine learning to establish a baseline global picture of the attitudes and values of people towards urban wild spaces and species.
