I hold a bachelors’ degree and a professional diploma in architecture from UCD and have been working in private practice since 2013. I have a keen interest in the relationship between design and ecology, with a particular focus on using interdisciplinary methods to support the design process and improve the ecological contribution of urban and suburban design projects. My other interests include: understanding design attitudes to urban wild spaces, increasing biodiversity and ecosystem services through design, and developing techniques to incorporate ecological information into the design process. I am completing a research Master’s as part of the NovelEco project.
